He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin VanMeter and Elizabeth VanMeter (Fry); his wife Elizabeth VanMeter (Murphy); and his siblings, Bessie Dieringer, Lucy Miller, Florence Sokol, Elma Lucas, Carl, Earl and Dwight VanMeter.
He is survived by: his sons, Terry VanMeter (Marchand) of Tallmadge and Mark VanMeter of Minerva; his grandson Brock VanMeter (Carrie); and his great grandchild Elizabeth Grace VanMeter.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
