Lois Gertrude Hawkins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Gertrude Hawkins of Minerva, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Summers and Ethel Summers (Wester); her sons, Matthew Dale Hawkins and Martin Hawkins; and her siblings, Mary Davis, Janice Hilgert, Barbara Johnson, Richard Summers, Millard Styer, George Styer and Phillip Styer.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Klotz (Glenwood) of Minerva, Mary Buchman (William) of Canton and Donald Hawkins (Norma) of Augusta; and her sister Nancy Silovich (Mike) of Canton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Christian Church of Malvern (4046 Coral Rd NW, Malvern, OH 44644). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
