He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnathan Charles and Anna Catherine Polasky Moreland; his siblings, Paul Allen, Charles, Jr., David Oliver Moreland, Mary Coleman and Anna Mae Saltsman; his grandsons, Dustin Lee Moreland and Stephen Michael Moreland; his sister-in-law Elizabeth "Libby" Moreland; his nephew David Moreland (Junior); and his niece Elizabeth Squicky.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Lee (Lisa), Patricia Ann (Brad) and Blair (Denise "Dee" Marie Hodkinson) of Mineral City; his close friend Beth Morrow; and his grandchildren, Brandy (Trevor Grant), Brent (Elizabeth Milburn), Derick Hodkinson (Megan), Heather Hodkinson, Ashley Hodkinson, Curtis Moreland (Megan), Andrew Moreland, Brandon Moreland (Desiree Harbold), Katrina Roberts and Bryan Mack. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:30 AM and at 1:00 PM at the Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home (172 S Main St, Cadiz, OH 43907). Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
