William Arden Norris Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Arden Norris of Minerva, Ohio, who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Mary Lois Norris (Klotz); his son-in-law Thomas Slack; his brother Virgil "Don" Norris; and his grandchildren, Sara and Andrew Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Millie" Norris (Troyer); his children, Debra Slack of Minerva, Sharon Garner (David) of Malvern, Suzanne Mathie (Luke) of Canton and Michal Norris, Sr. of Minerva; his sister Marjorie Polen (David) of Minerva; and his sister-in-law Indra Norris of Florida. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home (206 E Lincolnway, Minerva, OH 44657). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., Elara Caring Hospice Care, or the Malvern United Methodist Church.
