He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Pilati and Terzilia Pilati (Bertolini); his stepmother Agnes Pilati; his wife Ruth Anne Bricker Pilati; and his great grandchild Andy Harris.
He is survived by: his sons, James (Linda) of Melber, KY, William (Nori) of Vienna, Richard (Cathy) of East Rochester, John (Cindy) of Minerva and Dave (Diane) of Canton; his grandchildren, Merry Ellen Pridgen (Lynn), Karen Neese (Chris), Leah Moffett (Jon), Kelsey Willis (Justin), Louis Pilati (Raven), Dylan Vance (Hayley), Jesse Pilati (Telse), Nick Hoagland, Kristen Smith, Siena Pilati and Alec Pilati; his great grandchildren, Leigh, Jackson, Taytum, Camden, Calvin, Brandon, Kyla and Hunter; and his great great grandchildren, Ava and Tatum.
