He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Sammons and Beadie Sammons (Walker); his wife Ruth Ann Sammons (Deemer); and his siblings, Thomas, Charles and Faye.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Sammons (Kim) of Johnstown and Beth Coriell (Ron) of Minford; his grandchildren, Kurt Sammons (Kayla), Scott Sammons (Christine), Holly Florio (Kyle), Carrie Howard (Seth) and McKenzie West (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Jozie West, Sutton Sammons, Macie Howard, Riley Howard, Demry Sammons, Drew Sammons, Lucie West, Vera Florio, Rocco Florio, Scott and Christine; and his sister-in-law Judy Lewellan of Uniontown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
