She was predeceased by: her parents, LaMoine Sherwood and Lela Sherwood; her brothers, Durward Sherwood (Juanita) and Omer Sherwood (Margie); her brother-in-law Danny Moore; her sisters, Anna Woods, Mary Sluss (Willard) and Eileen Cornett; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Sherwood.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Cornett (Mary Lou) and Melody Phillips (Barry); her stepson Charles Cornett (Tina); her grandchildren, Toby Phillips, Christina Hamilton, Kelly Staggs, Jesse Phillips, Logan Cornett, L. D. Cornett and Shelby Veater; her siblings, Bill Sherwood, John Sherwood (Bonnie), Rosalee Moore and Teresa Hudson (Randy); and her brother-in-law Arthur Cornett. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
Donations can be made to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
