She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Swearingen and Marcella Swearingen (Shearer); her husband John Gill; and her sons, Jeffrey and Brian Gill.
She is survived by: her daughter Christina Shaw (Homer) of Oak Hill; her close friend Kevin Rase of Minford; her brother Steven Swearingen (Pat) of Louisville, KY; and her daughter-in-law Donna Gill.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (515 5th St, Portsmouth, OH 45662). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
