He is survived by: his wife Trina Denise Brown (Hanlin); his children, Sara Moore of Steubenville, Margaret Thompson, Jessica Thompson and Dalton Rose; his grandchildren, Harmony Kovalski, Hailee Day, John Kovalski III and Hayden Frazier; his sister Renae Hazelton (Mark) of Dillionvale, OH; his nephew Joseph N. McGurie; his niece Kaitlin McGuire; and his great-niece Josie McGuire.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Schuetz Funeral Home (235 Clifton Ave, Mingo Junction, OH 43938). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
