He was predeceased by: his son Thomas Marling; his parents, Albert Russel and Edith James (Hiexenbaugh); and his siblings, Emma L. Martling, Beth Ann Marling, Jerry, William, Russell, Robert and Richard "Rick" Marling.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra K. Marling (Trigg); his daughter Tina Marie Lipscomb (Jeffrey) of Delta Junction, Alaska; his stepdaughter Stephanie Dvorak (Joe) of Shadyside, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Jessica Lipscomb (Tamica), Jeffrey Lipscomb (Christina), Justina Lipscomb, Savanna Perkins of Columbus, Ohio and Lexi Antill of Shadyside, Ohio.; his great grandchildren, Penelope and Gideon Lipscomb of Alaska; and his sisters, Karen Stack (Rich) of Jacobsburg, Pam Moore of Jacobsburg and Georgina Carpino of Shadyside.
