She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira P. Rowland and Margaret Rowland (Witmer); her husband Ronald W. Chio; her children, Timothy Chio, Tamela Hibbs and Brenda Chio; and her siblings, Alice Richardson, Forrest Rowland and Janet Spotts.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Chio (Tammy) of Mingo Junction, OH and Eric Chio of Williamsport, PA; and her sister Donna Mae McDonald of Ashland, OH. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
