She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Bornhorst and Margaret Bornhorst (Stelzer); her husband Lester Poeppelman; her siblings, Maurice, Viola Bornhorst, Charles, Josephine Bornhorst, Anna and Lavern Gross; and her stepsiblings, Dorothy, Urban Gaier, Margaret, Aloys Hoelscher, Hilda, Clarence Siegel, Jenny and Carl Voisard.
She is survived by : her children, Barbara of Minster, Steve Grimm of Minster, Patricia of Minster, Dennis McGowan of Minster, Nicholas Poeppelman of Minster, Thomas Poeppelman of Minster and James Poeppelman of Minster; her grandchildren, Jessica, Jay Bigalke, Michael, Grace McGowan, David, Lauren McGowan, Dylan Poeppelman, Jacob Poeppelman, Mandi, Noah and Colleen Poeppelman; her great grandchildren, Gavin Bigalke, Levi Bigalke, Mia McGowan and Myles McGowan; her brother Jerry (Charlene Bornhorst); her sister-in-law Edna Wise of Minster; and her in-laws, Bernadine, Tom Froning, Ruth, Albert Hoelscher, Esther, Conrad Hoelscher, Alvin, Martha Poeppelman and Clifford Wise.
