He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Bernhold and Mary Jane Bernhold; and his former wife Barbara Peltier of Russia. He is survived by: his wife Susan Ahrns; his children, Kim Ramirez (Tony) of Avon Lake, Jeff of Tipp City, Matt (Teresa) of Treasure Island, FL and Andy (Kelly) of New Bremen; his stepchildren, Kate Behr of Maumee, Abby Hodgson (Michael) of Salem, OR and Joe Monnin of Orlando; and his sisters, Ann Diedrich (Ed) of Crossville, TN and Linda of Las Cruces, NM.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Lake Loramie Improvement Association.
