He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Millsaps and Troie Millsaps; his siblings, J. T. Millsaps and Ruth Watson; and his brother-in-law J. L. Watson.

He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Dave Millsaps (Laurie) of North Carolina and Carrie West of Akron; his grandchildren, Robbie Millsaps and AnneMarie West; his sister Mildred McKee (Austin) of Madisonville, Tenn.; and his cousins, Jim and JoAnn Brink. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
