He is survived by: his wife Ruth Saal (Kapper); his mother-in-law Naomi Kapper; his brother Bill (Patty Saal); his daughter Dawn Lofland (Steve); his grandson Logan (Shayna); his great grandchild Naomi; his granddaughter Danielle Lofland; his daughter Brenda Saal (Scott Jankowski); his grandson Zack; his daughter Valerie Rodenbucher (Dave); his grandchildren, Raymond, Samuel, Angelica, Christian and Rose; his daughter Heather Clark (Trevor); his grandsons, Wilson and Lincoln; his great grandchild Adam Saal; and his sibling's children, Michelle, Tammy, Chris and Tim.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Church or RSA Food Shelf continuing Fred's legacy of service and compassion.
