He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Stayer, and Mark L. Stayer, Sr.; his wife Gloria Joanne Stallings; his sister Carol Jo; and his brothers-in-law, James Plummer and Gregory Powers.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Jakubisin (Dave), Dawn Corall (John), Mark Stayer (Marie), Loren Stayer (Brenda) and Jeff Stayer (Lisa); his grandchildren, Joshua, Heather (Brad), Gina, Joe (Veena), Todd, Jeff Jr. (Megan), Curtis, Kaitlyn (Aaron), Briana (Kyle), Jessica (Adam), Jacob, Matthew and Benjamin; his great grandchildren, Margot, Mary, Addie, Oliver and Calvin; his siblings, Helen Powers, Pat Pollet (Dennis), Jane Plummer, Jean Carlson (Gary), Jerry Stayer (Carol), Ron Stayer (Shirley) and Joe Stayer (Carol); and also, Steve, Sandy Peterson, Frank and Barb Papp. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Suffield United Church of Christ (1115 OH-43, Mogadore, OH 44260).
