We announce the death of Vincent Seli of Mogadore, Ohio, who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 76. Vincent will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Seli and Maria Seli; his daughter Julie; his brother George; his parents-in-law, Edgar Berkely and Elsie Baschand (Ronnie); his son-in-law Jason Mowery; and his friends, Roger and Rae Graham.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Andrea Orr, Vinnie and Danielle Seli Mowery; his son-in-law Matt Orr; his grandchildren, Lucas, Brandon, Maria Orr, Logan, Pearl Mowery and Iris Seli; and his siblings, Maryann Troop, Connie, Andy (Pam), Beth Steiner (Mike), Chrissy Pope (Mike) and Kathy Flatt (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a multitude of friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Akron Chapel (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Wingfoot State Park (993 Goodyear Park Blvd, Mogadore, OH 44260).
