He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Sr. and Rose (Stasiak); his wife Melva J. Plocek (Gossett); his sons, Michael and Matt; his grandson Ross; and his siblings, Ed and Corrine Nadrasik (Dave).
He is survived by: his children, Kim Carothers (Danny), Mark Plocek (Jodi), Cindy Binkley (Brad), Diane Shindorf (Rip) and Kelly Crawford (Jerry); his daughter-in-law Sheri Plocek; and his sister-in-law Janet Plocek. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, or the Monclova Fire Station.
