He was predeceased by: his parents, T. N. Fleming and Lou Emma Fleming; and his siblings, Thomas, Herman, Ernest, Grace Nichols, Ruth Rast and Rose McQuaide.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sons, Dana Fleming (Hilda) of Elgin, SC, Sean Fleming of Charleston, WV, Eric Fleming (Michelle) of Idyllwild, CA and Scott (Christina) of Columbia, SC; and his sister Martha of Dayton, OH. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.
