He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Steward and Helen Steward (Vorhis); his wife Faye Steward; and his siblings, Harold Steward, Doris Shinkle and Shirley Nickell.
He is survived by: his sons, David (Mary) and Doug Steward (Amy); his grandchildren, Sarah, Jennifer, Robert, Madison, Troy and Callie; and his brother James Steward.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to Ohio's Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties in David's name.
