She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Turner and Dona Turner (Shepard); her siblings, Phillip Turner, Jeremiah Turner, Joe Turner, Anna Turner, Jewel Turner and Hannah Adams; and her great grandchild Nash McGuire.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry Burkett; her daughter Shawna Nisbet (Terry); her granddaughters, Erika McGuire (Tommy) and Rachel Brown (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Jordy Brown, Riley Brown and Grady McGuire; and her siblings, David Turner, Paul Turner (Lisa), Rebecca Hancock, Rachel Turner and Mary Hartman (Brad).
