She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hollon and Mark Hollon; her half-sister Baby Hollon; her former husband Samuel Lawrence "Larry" Cottongim; and her husband Barry M. Mathis.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark, Roy and Samuel Adam Cottongim; her granddaughters, Sara Elena and Brianna Nicole Cottongim; her great grandchild Ava Deaton; and her sister Jacqueline F. Manning. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
