He was predeceased by: his parents, James Murphy and Dorothy Murphy (Creech); his son Christopher Murphy; and his brother Kenneth Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Murphy; his sisters, Darlene Thorpe and Joann Pax; and his sister-in-law Joann Murphy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Living Word Missionary Baptist Church (8369 Princeton Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45044). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
