He is survived by: his wife Sarah Hofacker (Hindle); his children, John Lewis Hofacker (Valentina) of New London and Amy Smiley (Matthew) of Monroeville; his grandchildren, Takylah Distel, Ethan Smiley, James Hofacker and Alexander Hofacker; and his sisters, Linda Bell (John), Julie Leibold (Kevin) and Sharon Hurley (Dave). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, many cousins, in-laws, and other family members and friends.
