Emilie Helen Karafit Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025, at the age of 103, Emilie Helen Karafit of Montezuma, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Kurivial and John Kurivial; her husband Stephen Karafit; her son John Karafit; and her siblings, John Kurivial and Anna Samuhel (Michael).
She is survived by: her children, Rose (Paul), Elizabeth Sunkel (Tom) of Fort Collins, Colorado, Carol Forsthoefel (Robert) of Coldwater, Ohio, James Karafit (Brenda) of Montezuma, Ohio and Jane Karafit (Edward Sheppard); and her sister-in-law Doris Kurivial. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Emilie's honor.
