He was predeceased by: his parents, Rexford E. Richmond and Vivian M. Richmond (Wheeler); his siblings, Mike Richmond, Ann Richmond and Tony Richmond; his nephew Lonnie Richmond; and his former wife Brenda Taylor.

He is survived by: his stepson Billy Taylor (Davi) of Montpelier; his brothers, Steve Richmond of San Fransico and Andy Richmond of Angola, Indiana; his grandchildren, Ileanna Taylor, Maci Taylor and Ryanne Dohm; his nieces and nephews, Joey Richmond, Jamie Viers (Jason), Fonda Nutter (Chris), Liz Brown (Matt), Alisha Snyder (Mike) and Andrea Davis (Matt); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Trance Van Liere, Carter Meek, Jameson Viers, Makenzie Nutter, Gabrielle Nutter, Addi Snyder, Drake Snyder, Jackson Snyder, Vivian Wages, Olivia Wages, Braxton Richmond, Alex Richmond, Paisely Richmond and Jeren Viers.

Donations may be given to the Williams County Humane Society or Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice.
