We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2024, at the age of 100, Doris Eckhardt (Montpelier, Ohio) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Eckhardt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her former life partner Paul Hutchinson; her husband Malcolm Eckhardt; and her stepchildren, Paul Hutchinson Jr. and Linda Biasetti Hutchinson. She is survived by : her son Michael Hutchinson of Kentucky; her stepson John Spengler (Sandy) of Pettisville, OH; her grandsons, Patrick Hutchinson and Daniel Hutchinson of Kentucky; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Hutchinson (Jane), Carol Knapp (Lamont) and Mary Hutchinson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Doris' memory to the Northwest State Community College Foundation c/o the Nursing Program and sent to the Thompson Funeral Home, 204 East Main St., Montpelier, OH 43543.
