Gene A. Weidner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gene A. Weidner of Montpelier, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 31, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip M. Weidner and Ruth M. Weidner (Pinckley); his wife Linda K. Ferree; his brother Hal Weidner; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Schindler and Richard Schindler.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Mann (Philip), DiAnn Smith (Jason), Lisa Gotshall (Mark Hoeffel), Scott Weidner and Michael Weidner; and his sister-in-law Peggy Weidner. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to First Presbyterian Church or Evergreen Healthcare Activity Fund.
