Howard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Howard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Howard will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKinley and Mary E. Bell (Riggleman); his wife Madgelene M. Bell (Dowden); his son James Steven Bell; and his brothers, William Lamoine Bell and Charles Delanyne Bell.
He is survived by: his son Michael A. Bell of Montpelier. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Montpelier Senior Center or Elara Caring Hospice.
