He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Kunesh and Ida I. Kunesh (Grine); his wife Clara P. Brown; his children, Martin, Tamara and Kevin Kunesh; his grandson Benjamin Zimmerman; his brothers, Patrick and Lawrence Kunesh; and his son-in-law Galen Gerken.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Kunesh (Connie) of Defiance, Greg Kunesh of Defiance, Tina Gerken of Defiance, David Kunesh of Defiance and Deb Zimmerman (Tom) of Defiance; his siblings, Robert Kunesh (Marilyn) of Ney, Ohio and Jane Clemens (Joseph); and his sister-in-law Virginia Kunesh. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the St. Isidore Parish or the Ney American Legion.
