He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Lucille Iona Bitler (Wilgus); his brother Jeff Bitler; and his former wife Sandra Stickan (Boesel). He is survived by: his children, Douglas Bitler (Vicie) of Springfield and Debra Lehmann (Jeff) of Bryan, Ohio; his grandchildren, Chelsea Bitler, A. J. Lehmann (Chiara), Josh Lehmann (Kelly), Zach Bitler and Dylan Lehmann; his great grandchild Crew Lehmann; and his brothers, Jim Bitler of Celina and Thomas Bitler of California.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Hillside Country Living Activity Fund.
