Leo C. Allgire Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Leo C. Allgire of Montpelier, Ohio is shared. Leo, born on July 26, 1936, passed away on October 3, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leo C. Allgire to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Allgire and Fola Allgire (Wasnich); his wife Shelby Allgire; his brother Moine Allgire; and his daughter-in-law Pamela Allgire.

He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Allgire (Sonja) of Angola, Jerry Allgire (Debbie) of Bowling Green and Tim Allgire (Mary) of Montpelier; his grandchildren, Adam, Josh, Steve, Ashley, William, Chris, Anna L., Anna W., Steven, Justin and Mollie; and his brother Relmond Allgire. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson-Funeral Home - East Main (204 E Main St, Montpelier, OH 43543). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
