She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Mercer and Dorothy Mercer (Drescher); her husband Walter D. Schelling; her children, Mark Light (Kellie) of Bumpass, Virginia, Ann Gracia (Ignacio, Jr.) of Lebanon, OH, Liberty Schultz (Steve) of Bryan and Carrie Deckrosh (Paul Shock) of Dupont, Ohio; her stepchildren, Kevin and Kim; and her brother Norman Mercer.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (11532 Williams County Rd K, Montpelier, OH 43543).
