For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Tom and Gail Tom (Woods); and his wife Janice "Lynette" Brown. He is survived by: his children, Dan Tom (Mayela) of Columbus, OH, Sharla Young (Rob) of Montpelier, OH and Mari Ickes of Nashville, TN; his stepson Scott Crow of Chicago, IL; and his sister Dorothy Steiner-Kirk of Fairlawn, OH.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Thompson-Geesey Funeral Home (204 E Main St, Montpelier, OH 43543). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson-Funeral Home - Montpelier (204 E Main St, Montpelier, OH 43543).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CPC Women's Health Resources, Kairos Prison Ministries, Midwest Mission Distribution Center, or CHP Inpatient Hospice.
