It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kay Hays of Montpelier, Ohio, who passed away on April 18, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Lee O'Neal and Lamoile Evelyn Starr O'Neal; her husband Steven S. Hays; and her sister-in-law Gloria Kay Barrett. She is survived by: her children, Sharla Kirkingburg (Lindy), Brian Steven Hays (Lori) and Jodi Kay Hays; her grandchildren, Nicole Bowers, Nathan Bowers, Abbie Apple (DJ), Ashley King (Anton) and Alex Kirkingburg (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Natalie Apple, Archer Apple and Hazel King; and her brother Ronald O'Neal.
