He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dov Shamir and Rachel Shamir; his wife Judith; his children, Dan Shamir (Liz), Rachel Lapp (Aaron) and Daphne Soclof (Richard); his grandchildren, Dov Shamir (Stephanie), Gidon Shamir (Rachel), Sara Pludwinski (Eitan), Liam Shamir (Renee), Zvi Lapp (Adi), Sarit Lapp, Yoni Lapp (Lielle), Ariel Lapp (Chana), Lizzy Horowitz (Benny), Abby Levi (Mordi), Elijah Soclof (Leora), Nathaniel Soclof and Maggie Soclof; and his great grandchildren, Batya, Eva, Elan, Ezra, Gabey, Jonah, Ollie, Nadav, Raya, Lital, Hilla, Zohar, David, Michael, Eliav and Ashira.

A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Zion Memorial Park (5461 Northfield Rd, Bedford Heights, OH 44146). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
