With sadness, we share the passing of Athel E. Weddle of Morrow, Ohio. Athel, born on March 4, 1935, passed away on October 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Finley Weddle and Myrtie Weddle (Pitman); and his siblings, Estes, Lawrence, Arnold, Curtis, Hubert, Inza, Blondell, Beatrice and Thelma.
He is survived by: his wife Maude Weddle (Davidson); his children, Randy Weddle, Steve Weddle (Sheree) and Sheila Brockschmidt (Jim); his grandchildren, Steven Webster, Stephanie Weddle, Sarah Fox (Jayme), Amanda Lawless (Tim) and Katie Wheeler (Jade); and his great grandchildren, Kale, Xavier, Dallas and Blayke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Morrow Baptist Church (5876 US-22, Morrow, OH 45152). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Point Cemetery (185 Combest Ln, Nancy, KY 42544).
