She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry A. Maddox and Miriam I. Maddox; and her siblings, Sonny Maddox and Betty Joe Caudill. She is survived by : her husband Larry Smith; her sons, Keith (Sherri) and Ron Smith (Liz); her sister Jeannine Cottrel; her grandchildren, Eric (Mae), Nathan (Emily), Tyler (Becca), Derek, Sarah, Kelsey and Collin; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Micah, Scarlette, Henry, Obadiahs and Stetson.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stine Funeral Home of Lebanon (801 Monroe Rd, Lebanon, OH 45036). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (171 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040).
