He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon M. Apple and Florence E. Apple (Simon). He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn R. Hasselbach (Steve) of Gibsonburg, Brittany N. Ferguson (Scott) of Melborne, FL and Danielle M. Apple (Trever Starr) of Findlay; his stepsons, Chad Tackett (Tracy) of Mt. Blanchard and Ryan Tackett of Bowling Green; his sister Diana Crum of Bloomdale; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Jason, Zachary, Leah, Lainy, Jacob, Alyssa, Nick, Zach, Mikayla and Marc. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Richard to a charity of the donor's choice.
