We announce the death of Betty Potes of Mount Gilead, Ohio, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 85. Betty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth M. Fritz and Opal O. Fritz (Sherman); her brother Robert "Bob" Fritz; and her sister-in-law Connie Fritz. She is survived by: her husband Gordon N. Potes; her son Don McNamee (Connie) of Mount Gilead; her granddaughters, Lauren McNew (Brian) and Kara Osborne (Clay); and her great grandchildren, Oakley and Owen Osborne.
