It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delbert Ray Chapman of Mount Gilead, Ohio, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd B. Chapman and Mary Helen Chapman (Crum); his wife Laura Lou Chapman (Hammond); his siblings, Louise Haley, Jeanie Jarvis and James Copley; and his sister-in-law Sherry Chapman.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Taggert (Jack), Delbert "Todd" Chapman (Debbie), James "Jimmy" Norman Chapman (Christa) and Jonna Bosley (Ray); his grandchildren, Corey, Colin Taggert, Alex, Mckenzie, Zachary (Kenzie), James (Sarah), Emma Chapman, Nick (Katie) and Andy Bosley (Sharyn); his great grandchildren, Ezra, Sam, Ruby, Zeva, Finn and Willow; and his siblings, Roy Chapman and Nettie Miller. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
