She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin Francis Klenz; her brothers, John, Richard, David and William Troyer; and her parents, Daniel Troyer and Fannie Troyer (Kuhns).
She is survived by: her children, Eric F. Klenz (Amy) of Avon Lake and Aimee Holmes (Brian) of Vermilion; her grandchildren, Annelise, Olivia, Gabriel, Eliza and Suzanna; her siblings, Floyd Troyer (Debbie) of Tennessee, Philip Troyer (Cathy) of Mansfield, Sharon Perry (Clyde) of Mansfield and Roger Troyer (Ingrid) of Mansfield; and her sisters-in-law, Susan Cooper (Donald) of Avon Lake, Sandy Troyer, Barbara Troyer and Betty Troyer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (115 Central Dr, Amherst, OH 44001).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Matthew 25 Ministries at M25M.org or to Hospital Albert Schweitzer in Haiti.
