He was predeceased by: his parents, Hysell R. Gandee and Frances E. Gandee (Siebolt); his wife Zelda JoAnn (Deal); and his brothers, John, Kenneth and Larry Gandee.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Gandee II (Lisa) of Mount Gilead and Cindy Gandee of Fulton; and his brother Robert Gandee of Marion. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
