He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Leedale Hershner and Mabel Ann Hershner (Smith); his son Mark Hershner; his siblings, Frances Nisley, Harold "Dean" Hershner, Mary Jean Condon and Marvin Hershner; and his sister-in-law Eileen Hull.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Hershner; his son Dan Hershner (Cindy); his daughter-in-law Janet Hershner; and his grandchildren, Chad Hershner (Crystal), Autumn Hershner, Jay Hershner, Christy Hershner, Stephanie Hershner, Rachel Hershner and William Hershner. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and two brothers-in-law.
