She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest Bishop and Miriam Bishop (Poland); her brothers, Jack Bishop and Barry Bishop; her husband Hassel Horton; and her daughter Connie Jackson.

She is survived by: her former husband John Reef of Mount Vernon; her brother Forest Bishop Jr. (Marlene); her children, Craig Horton (Chona) of Seattle, Chris Horton (Cindy) of Mount Vernon and Brenda Pruitt (Mike) of Centerburg; her son-in-law John Jackson; her grandchildren, Shane Hankins of Brooklyn, NY, Chad Hartsock (Anna) of Indiana, Darby Hartsock of Indiana and Caleb Hartsock of Indiana; her stepchildren, John Reef (Vickie) and Diana Haskins (Jay); her grandchildren, Sarah Weirich (George), Alexander Reef, Andrew Reef, Josephine Reef and Lucas LeMaster; Saundra. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made, in her name, to the church's building/land fund.
