She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Flax and Lillian Flax; her husband Gilbert Shivar; her son Brian Shivar; and her sister Frances Skelly.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Shivar (Perri) and Jeffrey Shivar (Michelle); her granddaughters, Jennifer Estridge (Scott), Amy Gruber (Sean) and Michelle Bates (John); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan, Hailey Estridge, Adalyn Gruber, Jordan and Molly Jo Bates; and her sisters, Doris Marchese and Marilyn Sacolick.
If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to a SPCA on one's choice.
