He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Theodore and Eva Mae Gettys (Crowder); his wife Barbara Gettys; his brother Terry Gettys; and his grandson Landon.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Lucia (Bruce), Pam Gettys (Jack Conners Jr.), Tania Akers (Steve) and Tina Campbell (Domonique); his grandchildren, Nick, Quinton (Aliza), Ashley (Zach), Alex (Janice), Adam (Megan), Taylor, Colton, Aaliyah, Shelby, Sydney, Nic, Peyton and Dexter; his great grandchildren, Maci, Lane, Onaleigh, Bryson and Asher; and his pet Prissy.
