Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Frieda Jeanette Switzer of Mount Orab, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 87, on December 8, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband James "Joe" Switzer; her children, Melinda S. Neal and David E. Switzer; her brother Fred Baessler; and her brother-in-law Richard Bausch.
She is survived by: her sons, Denis C. Switzer (Wendy), Steven T. Switzer (Lisa), Jonathan R. Switzer (Sylvia), Erich J. Switzer (Kelly), Thomas C. Switzer (Jessica) and James D. Switzer; her sister Norma Bausch; and her sister-in-law Dee Baessler. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Megie Funeral Home - Mount Orab (104 Spice St, Mt Orab, OH 45154). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Orab Cemetery (103 Day Rd, Mt Orab, OH 45154).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be directed to SEM Haven Nursing Home, 225 Cleveland Ave., Milford, OH 45150 in gratitude for the care they provided to Jeanette in her final years.
