We bid farewell to George Baker Sr. of Mount Orab, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 28, 2025 at the age of 84. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Baker and Anna Baker (Lowery); his wife Rita Woodall Baker; and his sisters, Martha Williamson and Marjorie Phelps.
He is survived by: his son George Baker Jr. (Brandy) of Lake Waynoka; his grandson Brendan Baker; his sister Mary Lowery of Somerset, KY; and his sibling's children, Janell Edwards, Judy Baugh and Gary Williamson. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
