He was predeceased by: his mother Norma Sue James (Miller); his grandparents, Maggie, Harvey Miller, Yolanda and Aloysius Traurig; and his stepmother Linda James-Burklee.
He is survived by: his father Charles Ronald James of Eastgate; his wife Cynthia James (Sczynski); his children, Stephanie Hitt (Tony) of Flemingsburg, Jennifer James of Grant County, Andrea Davis (Larry) of Germantown, Megan Whyle (Zak) of Lebanon, Jonathon James of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Justin James of Mt. Orab, Ohio; his sisters, Lisa Mercer of Blue Ash, Sharon Detmer (Jim) of Cincinnati, Melissa Tellep (John) of Owensville, Christine Thomas of Amelia and Kylie James of Eastgate, Ohio; his grandchildren, Paige Chaney, Kaylee Wheeler, Jacob Ledford, Mason Davis, Lleyton Poe, Brinson Davis, Aryanna Davis, Gunnar, Levi, Noel and Jace Bitzer; and his great grandchildren, Kayden Wheeler, Elijah Wheeler, Ethan, Aubrey and Brittain Chaney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cahall Funeral Home (101 Liming Farm Rd, Mt Orab, OH 45154). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
